Wood Engravings

I'm working on them. This is a new medium for me and I'm learning it.

Wood engravings are plates carved for the purpose of making traditional prints with ink on paper. They're similar to wood-block prints, but can sustain a finer line and are therefore more detailed. Each copy is considered an original work of art, because it will be ever so slightly different from all of the others to be pulled from the same plate. But because multiple images can be produced with relative ease after the carving process is complete, these prints are less costly than individual art objects such as drawings or paintings.
