Five O'Clock Shadow and Ashley Archer
Strictly speaking, this was not a planned photoshoot involving costumes. It was a spontaneous series of photos that Ashley took on a foggy night in Saluda, NC, where she was able to use the atmospheric conditions and vintage holiday lights to replicate the world of Five O'Clock Shadow - a private eye whose adventures take place in an urban street setting of the 1950's.
I play Five, of course, and Ashley is his mysterious client, Ashley Archer. Elaborate costumes were not needed for this shoot - my leather jacket sufficed for my part, and Ashley's coat sufficed for hers. We think that the foggy backdrops, vintage storefronts and shadowy silhouettes capture the imaginative world of these characters quite beautifully.
